Alice Braga

Alice Braga has worked in numerous Brazilian as well as American television and film productions. Coming from a family of actor, it's only normal for her to get into the industry at a very young age. Her first appearance was in commercials as a young girl and later earned critical acclaim for her role in the Brazilian crime film 'City of God', released in 2002. The actress received a number of international awards for her role in the Brazilian thriller 'Lower city.' Braga made her debut in"The" English movie in the English language "Journey to the end of the night" (2006). In 2007, she earned notoriety internationally for her part as Will Smith, in the American sci-fi-horror film "I am Legend". In the years since, she has appeared in numerous Hollywood films including "Repo Man" (2010) and 'Predators' (2010), 'The Rite' (2011) and 'Elysium' (2013). In the present, she plays the primary part in the role of Teresa Mendoza in the American drama series of crime 'Queens of the South' and has regular guest roles in the Brazilian web-based comedy "Samantha!
