Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actor, known for her roles in the movies Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! Her first fame was the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab where she co-starred along with the veteran actor Anil Koopor. She next appeared in the film Dil in which she starred alongside Aamir Khan. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing when she was a child. As a teenager She began to act and was a victim for a few years due to the fact that her films at first were unsuccessful. Then, she discovered success with Indian cinema and rose to the top. She decided to take a break from acting after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. In the last few years, Dixit was a key player in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. She won eight of the awards. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is India's fourth highest civil honor. Also, she is well known for her charitable works.
